Reducing Stress and Calming Your Emotions - Expressive Arts Workshop in an Organizational Setting
In September 2019 we conducted a workshop on the theme of Self-Care and Stress Reduction in a corporate setting in Beijing, China.
Through body movements, visual arts and creative writing, the aim of the workshop was to enable participants to reconnect with the Self physically and mentally. By emphasizing on the importance of Playfulness, participants was able to put aside their daily to-do list and clear the mind in a moment of peace, creativity, and fun.
Sometimes a good way to relieve stress and anxiety is by being fully engaged in Play. Just like children acquire new skills by playing with others, as adults, we can also broaden our perception and awareness via playfulness. To connect with the childlike self inside you, besides duties and constant self-improvement, life is supposed to be fun and adventurous!
